Jenna Melman, LICSW

Jenna Melman, LICSW, specializes in providing evidence-based psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, couples and families. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan and her master’s degree from Columbia University’s School of Social Work.

At Columbia University, Jenna was intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT).

Jenna held a position specializing in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) at UW Medicine Harborview’s Psychotherapy Clinic. Jenna was also a Seattle Children’s DBT research therapist, working directly with Dr. Marsha Linehan, developer of DBT, to treat suicidal, emotionally dysregulated adolescents and their families.

Jenna works collaboratively with individuals and families to thoughtfully develop individualized interventions to treat anxiety, depression, suicidality, self-injury and behaviors related to emotion dysregulation.
